Success Story - Jermone Mills

Mr. Jermone Mills stated he first encountered Lula Mae's Day Center (LMDC) at their free-lunch giveaway at the Salvation Army in March 2022. Mr. Mills stated that at this time, he was a 26-year-old who felt hopeless and homeless. Mr. Mills stated that in spite of his circumstances, LMDC was able to assist him with obtaining permanent housing, mental health services, and re-enrolling in college at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Mr. Mills stated he would forever express his gratitude for LMDC's kindness, guidance, and generosity toward him and others who experience homelessness.
